      LAWTELL - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Lawtell for Mr. Joseph F. Carmouche, Sr., 77, who passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016 at Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Father Borgia Aubespin will be officiating the funeral service. Mr. Carmouche is survived by: his wife, Anna Belle Fontenot Carmouche of Opelousas; three sons, Donald Carmouche (Joyce) of Lawtell, Joseph Floyd Carmouche, Jr. of Baton Rouge and Joseph Felix Carmouche (Lisa) of Breaux Bridge; three daughters, Joyce Carmouche of Houston, TX, Rose Robertson (Gerald) of New Iberia and Pamela Carmouche of Opelousas; six brothers, Robert Lee Carmouche (Thelma), Felton Carmouche, Lloyd Carmouche (Sandra) and Frances Carmouche, all of Houston, TX, Theophile Carmouche of Virginia and Fredrick Carmouche of Opelousas; five sisters, Juanita Noel (Irvin) of Plaisance, Patricia Handy (Larry) of Missouri City, TX, Ella Mae Dawson (Joseph) of Houston, TX, Georgia Edwards (James) and Pansy Carmouche, both of Opelousas; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by: his parents, Leroy Carmouche and Julia Babineaux Carmouche; two sons, Patrick Lee Carmouche, Sr. and Jerry Lee Carmouche; two brothers, Leroy Carmouche, Jr. and Ronald Carmouche; and two sisters, Mary Ann Arvie and Gloria Jefferson. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. to10:45 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church.
