      PORT BARRE - Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 26, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel for Nicholas Scott Reviere, known to his friends as "MeatBall" age 22. Rev. Joshua Adams will conduct the service. Rite of Committal and interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.

      Nicholas was a lifelong resident of Port Barre. He passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at his residence. He enjoyed hunting, listing to loud music, playing with his son.

      Survivors include wife, Brittany Pitre Reviere of Port Barre, his son, Karsen Reviere of Port Barre, his parents, Neil and Shirley Reviere of Port Barre, his brothers, Travis Menard and his wife, Amanda of Opelousas, and Joshua Menard and his wife, Angel of Port Barre, his sisters, Hailey and Holly Reviere of Port Barre, paternal grandparents, Delores and Carlton Reviere of Garland, LA., his maternal grandparents, Aline and Wade Hudson of Port Barre, his niece, Amelia Menard of Port Barre and his nephew, Caleb Menard of Port Barre.

      He was preceded in death by his godfather, Scott Reviere, great grandparents, Sydney and Mae Rourks and Gordy Guidry.

      In lieu of flowers make donation to family to help with cost of funeral expense.

      The family would like to send a special thanks to Med Express Michael Sullivan, Jerome Farrell, Daniel Hooks, Port Barre Fire Department, Joby Thomassee and Robert Devillier, Port Barre Police Department, Joseph Francis and Byran Lafleur, and Chief of Police Deon Boudreaux.

      Pallbearers will be Derek Daniels, Dylan Rodriguez, Derek Godeaux, Josh Menard, Travis Menard, Jason Pitre, Seth Godeaux, and Chad Benoit.

      The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Thursday, September 26, 2014, from 2:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Friday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.

      Words of Comfort to the family may be expressed at Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre.
